Video editing is something that has been regarded as a dark art which requires a Masters degree to get it right. In some respects, that is true if you are producing the next Hollywood hit but you can also achieve so much yourself now with free and opensource software, which may satisfy your basic needs for home video editing with the likes of VLC media player or Flash Integro VSDC for more advanced functions, but the aim is to build skills and interest so you can move on to more advanced techniques and get the return on that super software / hardware investment.
The Blogs that are attached to this page (in the navigation menu) aim to do just that. Finding everyday problems and correcting them with free software on a basic cheap tech laptop.
Ideally you will speed ahead and if you want to submit a post with your name credited then please email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will start with VLC Media Player functions as this is a great piece of software.
